Brand identity uses Breeze, HubSpot’s collection of AI tools, to gather and apply brand-specific context such as voice, tone, ideal client profile, products, and competitive information. This context is used when generating AI content in HubSpot.
You can add scan a website domain for brand voice, context, and messaging. You can also refresh this information by re-crawling a website when your brand content changes.
Your brand identity context is referenced when creating blogs, landing pages, and case studies.
Before you get started
Before you begin working with this feature, make sure to fully understand what steps should be taken ahead of time, as well as the limitations of the feature and potential consequences of using it.
Understand requirements
Configure the following settings to ensure the brand identity can be generated:
- Give users access to generative AI tools and features.
- Configure your AI data sources.
- Set up your company name and domain. The domain is used by Breeze to crawl your website to gather more information about your brand:
- In your HubSpot account, click the settings settings icon in the top navigation bar.
- In the left sidebar menu, click Account defaults.
- Under Company Information, enter your company name and company domain.
- If the account uses Brands, a domain or subdomain should be set up for each Brand, otherwise generation will be skipped.
Additional brand identity context

Crawl website for brand identity

The information found in the crawl will be added to the Additional Context section. Any information that was manually updated won't be replaced.
- In your HubSpot account, navigate to Content > Brand.
- In the Generate your Brand Identity section, click Crawl Website.
- In the dialog box, enter the website you want to crawl.
- To update the brand voice from your website crawl, click the Yes, update my brand voice checkbox.
- Click Continue, then click OK to confirm the crawl has started.
- The section title will change to Website Crawl in Progress. To cancel the crawl, click Cancel crawl.
