Edit the default font for emails sent from the CRM and conversations inbox

Available with any of the following subscriptions, except where noted:

Customize the default font style, color, and size for all emails sent from a record in the CRM and through a connected email channel in the conversations inbox. Customizing your default font can help ensure that emails sent directly to your contacts are consistent in style and appearance.

Please note: these settings do not override the fonts used in templates, snippets, CRM email signatures, or marketing email default fonts.

Set the default font style

Permissions required Edit account defaults permissions are required to edit the default font for your account. 

  1. In your HubSpot account, click the settings settings icon in the top navigation bar.
  2. In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Account Defaults.
  3. Click the User Defaults tab.
  4. In the Email section, set up your default font style, size, and color:
    • To select a default font, click the Font dropdown menu. You can use any of the fonts listed in the dropdown menu, but you cannot add a custom font.
    • To adjust the font size, click the Font size dropdown menu.
    • To set the default font color, click the color next to the font size field and use the color gradient to select a color.
  5. Click Save.
